Vivo X300 Ultra review: How can a phone camera be this good?
I didn't expect to like headphones as much as I love the Nothing Headphone (a)
Enabot's other home robots might be more popular, but this model is my personal favorite.

Enabot makes a wide variety of wheeled robots. All of them are designed to be home security cameras that can be remotely maneuvered and accompany people and pets at home.
Prices for Enabot's EBO robots range from as low as $120 to a whopping $1,000. Of the dozens of models offered by the brand, my favorite continues to be the most expensive one of them all: the EBO X.
This nifty Alexa-powered pet companion robot on wheels has many merits, but affordability is not one of them. Having used many of the other entry and mid-level options from Enabot, I cannot go back now that I've experienced the most premium tier.
It has been three years since the EBO X debuted at CES 2023. Enabot leaned heavily on the guardian robot label with the EBO X, which isn't uncommon for the brand. The $1,000 EBO X has a lot in common with other robots from Enabot. They all come with docking stations, wheels, cameras, speakers, mics, night vision, and remote control support.
But the EBO X sticks out proudly, its head held high, shining brightly and distinctly. In addition to all the perks of the regular Enabot robots like the EBO Air or the EBO ROLA Mini, the robot packs a mighty punch with best-in-class specs. Features like fall detection and cry recognition are super helpful and unique.
The Enabot EBO X robot packs a mighty punch with best in class specs.
With the EBO X, you get brilliant Harmon Kardon speakers that can be used as just Bluetooth speakers once you choose that mode. The combination of high-quality speakers and mics means two-way comms are of higher quality too.
And because Enabot decided to equip the EBO X with a spectacular upgraded 8MP 4K UHD camera with a stabilized gimbal, the video quality is unmatched. I use the EBO X robot almost every single day when I'm out of the house. When my cat is hiding in a tight corner, I can easily zoom in or swivel the camera up or down to find him.

Navigation is incredibly smooth thanks to the hardware and software optimization, and it has only improved over time. The EBO X has real-time GPS tracking with a quad positioning system, visual simultaneous localization, and mapping (V-SLAM) technology.
The Enabot EBO X guardian robot returns to the charging dock on its own once the battery is low and can be set to patrol your house or to interact with people and pets through the app.
You can adjust a ton of settings and preferences in-app, including remote control settings. Even the RGB lights of the robot's "eyes" can be customized through the mobile app, or you can simply touch the sides of the robot itself to change the colors.
Once you've connected your Alexa account to the robot, it becomes an Alexa speaker on wheels.
Perhaps my favorite aspect of the Enabot EBO X smart home companion robot is native Alexa support. Once you've connected your Alexa account to the robot, it becomes an Alexa speaker on wheels. You can add Alexa skills that enable the robot to follow you around when given the correct voice command. The convenience is unimaginable.
It is the combination of Alexa support, superior camera quality, and the premium-grade Harmon Kardon speakers that make it so hard for me to go back to using an inferior EBO Air or EBO Air 2.
If you ask me to recommend a smart home security camera for your home, the Enabot EBO X is without a doubt my top recommendation.
As long as you can afford it, choose this multifunctional smart home robot without reservation. It'll accompany your pets, check in on your family members, surveil your home, act as an Alexa speaker that can follow you around, and help you communicate with people or pets at home while you're away.
The EBO X robot even notifies you of fall alerts and when it detects babies crying. It's an incredibly useful sentinel to have in one's home, one that is easily the best Enabot has ever made.
Enabot aimed really high with the EBO X smart home security robot. The sky's the limit with what this companion robot can do. Once you get used to the high quality service and features offered by the EBO X, it's really hard to go back to lower-specced Enabot robots.
